1. Material Analysis
Before extrusion begins, we use a spectrometer to analyze the chemical composition of each batch of aluminum ingots to verify its alloy grade compliance (e.g. 6061, 6063). This ensures that the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the final profile meet your application requirements.

2. Mechanical Property Testing
To ensure the strength and durability of aluminum profiles, we test the profiles for tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. These tests are performed in accordance with international standards (e.g. ASTM, EN) to confirm that the profiles can withstand the working stress.

3. Salt spray corrosion test
Our salt spray (neutral salt spray) test simulates harsh environments to evaluate the corrosion resistance of surface treatments, especially anodized and powder coated profiles. This test helps verify their long-term weathering and oxidation resistance.

Can I customize aluminum profiles according to drawings?
Yes, we specialize in custom aluminum extrusions. Simply send us your technical drawings (PDF/DWG) or design sketches, and our engineering team will assist you in assessing feasibility and developing custom molds.
What surface finishes do you offer?
We offer a variety of surface finishes, including anodizing (natural, black, champagne, etc.), powder coating, electrophoresis, wood grain transfer, glossy and matte effects, suitable for decorative and industrial applications.
Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we provide free samples of standard profiles and can provide customized samples upon request. For customized molds, a sample fee may be required, which is refundable when placing a bulk order.
What alloy numbers can you extrude?
WHOMAS only produces alloys in the 6000 series.

What standard structural aluminum extrusion shapes do you have?
We have dies for more than 2,000 standard aluminum extrusion profiles, covering aluminum angle steel, aluminum square bar, aluminum round bar, aluminum tube, aluminum beam and aluminum channel steel, etc.
Even if you describe the rough size, we can find 95% similar cross-sectional dimensions.
How are aluminum extrusions packaged?
For long aluminum extrusions, WHOMAS will wrap them with plastic film or bubble film, and then wrap them with composite paper. For short strips and specific lengths of aluminum extrusions, WHOMAS will use plastic film or bubble wrap to isolate them and then pack them into cartons. In addition, we can provide customized packaging to meet your special requirements.
What is the typical lead time for bulk orders?
The lead time for standard profiles is usually 15-25 days. The lead time for custom profiles with surface treatment and machining is about 25-35 days, depending on the order volume and complexity.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard aluminum profiles, our MOQ is usually 500 kg per model. For customized profiles, the MOQ may vary depending on the design and mold requirements. Small trial orders for new customers can also be negotiated.
Do you support international shipping and provide documents?
Yes, we have rich export experience and provide comprehensive logistics support, including sea/air freight booking, and providing certificates of origin and other documents required for customs clearance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We usually accept T/T (30% deposit, 70% balance paid before shipment). For long-term partners or large orders, payment methods are negotiable. In some cases, we also accept L/C and PayPal payments.
Do your products comply with any quality or environmental certifications?
Yes, our factory is ISO 9001 certified and can provide RoHS, REACH or SGS test reports upon customer request. All materials meet international standards for aluminum alloys and surface treatments.
